FAQS
registering as a wedding celebrant
being a 90’s kid i was at my fair share of italian weddings, back then it was all about reception centres packed out with every single extended family member you can think of! the music was of course a mix of 90’s italian disco & the macarena would always make an appearance - not to mention the nutbush. iconic!
after working in hospitality for the last 20 years, i was looking for a career to take me to the next phase of my life.
hitting the streets with my pizza truck ~ we (pizza pony) catered a bunch of weddings. after meeting a few rad celebrants i was like “hey i’d love to be a celebrant!”
what do you bring to weddings
fun ~ happy & inclusive ceremonies, which means you can expect me to connect with your guests & make the day a very memorable experience. as far as planning, i’m here for you! we can chat & go through everything to make sure everyone is on the same page.
can we catch up & chat first
yes absolutely. let me shout you a coffee or vino at my local & we can see where it takes us. we can also catch up online/phone.
how soon can you marry us
there is a very important document the NOIM & this needs to be filled out & in my hands at minimum one month before your nuptials. technically we can put in a request for an earlier approval from BDM, although it’s for specific circumstances only. i will provide a copy for you in our first meeting.

yes i can definitely help with writing & keeping vows similar in length & content.
how long does a ceremony take
it all depends on what package you choose.
ciao ~ this is legals only, meaning it’s short & sweet. you bring along two witnesses as your guests, we sign the paperwork, say the legal words over a coffee/vino & you’re married!
bacio ~ this is an elopement style wedding, whereby you have say 10-20 guests, i write a personalised ceremony for the day with vows, the ceremony can take anywhere between 10-20min.
ti amo ~ this is a bigger wedding, anything over 20 guests including a personalised ceremony, vows, we can include some readings & involve loved ones/friends which will take around 20-30min.
